This beer pours an orange golden colour with low carbonation and a small head that slowly sits in.
The smell was malty and slight hoppy, with a typical German smell which I always think smells like sulfur or vegetables.
Taste was slightly sweet and sticky, full bodied with a caramellic touch to it. There was also some grainy or husky flavor to it, which was good. I think this beer is just a touch too sweet and sticky to really enjoy it, the drinkability is not served by it anyway.
Although I catagorized this beer as a Marzen or Oktoberfest, I am not sure if this is it, but is certainly comes closest to the style.
