Trent 14/7 2025. 50 cl can from Netto Market Discount, Frankendamm, Stralsund. Green and white can with a split diagonally from top to bottom.
Pours clear yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with a bit sour grains. Sweet, pale malts, bread and cardboard. A bit of glue and sour grains.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, Soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Not too bad German discount lager.

Darguner Brauerei GmbH "Schloss Pilsener"
,5L can coded "MHB: 17.08.18". Sampled on 22 September 2017.
,29€ @ Netto, Grabenstätt, DE
Look: Clear golden body beneath a short head of white foam that holds fairly well and leaves some nice lacing behind. Plenty of fine bubbles can be seen steadily rising within the glass.
Smell: Sweet grainy malt backed by subtle herbal hops.
Taste: As the aroma suggests, it's a sweetish beer upfront but it manages to mostly balance itself in the end through a firm bitterness and a bit of spicy and herbal hops.
Feel: Medium in body and crisp with a standard level of carbonation.
Overall: It's hard to argue against a beer that's really not at all bad at just ,29€ while there are beers across the globe that are worse than this, and beers that have clear defects to them. It's at least better than average. That's not to say, however, that it's good because it's really not. It lacks in hop flavor and aroma, and comes off as somewhat unbalanced, and boring.
