There are few things I like more in life than getting home after a hard day and reviewing a German pilsner that I have never had before, and I seem to be the first, great! To date I have only ever had one German purity law brewed beer that I didn't like (called 5.0).
Can design is a bit uninspiring, but ok. Contains hops in addition to hops extract, always a good sign.
Great, very smooth head. Mega refreshing and inviting hoppy aroma. A little like strawberries somehow, but I love.
Mouth feel is a little thin and watery. Lots of effervescence but the beer is so thin, many flavours just flow away when it touches the tongue. Kind of like if you mixed sparkling water with another better pilsner, such as Radeberger or Krombacher. Malt is ever so light, you almost can't taste it. Still it's kind of refreshing, and would be great on a hot day. Which unfortunately it isn't. Tastes, although rather subtle, include dates, tangerine peel, raisins. But it really does taste like someone has mixed a German pilsner with fizzy water. Usually I am really generous on my first beer of the day, but for this I can't really be. It looks great and has an inviting aroma, it's a bit of a surprise about the mouth feel and taste. The actual flavour is great, it's just too weak and watery. Definitely needs to be brewed longer with more hops. But the malt lightness, and the actual hops...I really like. And I'm drinking it pretty fast. Totally ok and drinkable, just mega thin and tastes like it is 3 parts pilsner, 7 parts fizzy water. Yes seriously.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
