Copenhagen 1/8 2025. 50 cl bottle from Netto Marken Discount, Ossenreyerstrae, Stralsund. An old farmhouse on the off-white label and the name of the beer in golden slanted letters.
Pours clear yellow with a mid-sized white head. Bubbly. Settles as a thin, patchy, almost transparent layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a sourish scent. Sweet pale malts, bread and cereal. Sour grains. Lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick. oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter. Pretty thin. Finish is watery and nondescript.
Watery and fairly uninteresting Lager beer.
