Trent 18/7 2025. 50 cl bottle from Edeka, Ossenreyerstraße, Stralsund. Orange label with the name of the beer in white and the logo of the brewery with the shield and the fortress in red.

Pours clear, golden amber with a big white head. Stable. Settles as a 0,4 cm thick layer of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.

Aroma is malty and sweet mingling with a sharp scent of alcohol and grains. Sweet pale malts, bread and caramel. Metallic alcohol.

Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, a bit greasy, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. A little rough. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry with a light touch of alcohol.

A bit sharp Bock.

A: Beautiful amber glowing pour with a medium large white creamy head. Slow dissipation leaves lots of lacings.

S: Sweet malt with some cherries. Mostly malt and only faint dark dried fruits.

T: Rich sweet malt. Dark dried fruits. Faint butter.

M: A bit alcoholic. Aftertaste is short, bitter. Body is medium to full. Carbonation is moderate.

D: A just above average Maibock.

Smell : malty, slightly toasty aroma with notes of hops.
Taste and mouthfeel : sweet flavour of honey, bitter, malty with light herbal hoppy finish.
