Copenhagen 22/7 2025. 50 cl bottle from Edeka, Ossenreyerstraße. Stralsund. Simple white and red label with Rostocker's logo with the red fortress and the name of the beer and the founders of Hanseatic Brauerei Rostock.
Pours clear yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. A bit bubbly. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and malty odor mingling with a scent of sour grains. Sweetpale malts, bread and cereal. Sour grains with a touch of citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Sweetish, bready pilsner.

A: The color is clear gloden and the white head is tall and creamy. Dissipation leaves nice lacings.
S: Neat and clean malt overpowered by strong bitter hops.
T: Noble bitter hops dominates. There's also bready malt and also some buttery notes together with fruityness.
M: Aftertaste is rather short, but lovely bitter. Body as well as carbonation is medium.
O: A nice and rather well balanced German Pilsener.
