Slight haze on the amber brew with a fine-grained white foam. Unfiltered, but just a wisp of yeast in the bottle. Creamy carbonation that melts in the mouth. Just a modest, malty sort of brew, but more substantial than the usual lagers. Some wheaty taste, like cheerios with a slight tang of acidity.
This is quite a pleasant Kellerbier in an authentic German style. Unpretentious and mouthfilling with a modest alcohol content. From the half litre bottle purchased at a Getränkemarkt in Rhaunen, Germany.
