500ml bottle in Germany poured into a tall Hefeweizen glass. A hazy golden/yellow pour with a thick foamy substantial head initially. That “bottle-fermented” notation on the label is serious, thick glass and all. Once the head subsides, the lacing is slippery and just rejuvenates the foam ring when you get into it. The malty sweetness is there, but the tropical fruit, citrus and banana flavors are soft, as is the clove and hops bitterness. It is better than the pils but lacks in flavor for type.
