Half-litre tall glass: Cochem Cond, on 21 Sep 2013. Sunny day with a view across the river to Cochem Burg (castle); lovely.
Beer came with a moody, murky look, orangey, with a cloudy centre, the off-white head hung around for a short while before becoming a collar and thin wisp.
The nose was semi-sweet malts, with some orchard fruit and yeast notes, the taste also semi-sweet malty and again with a fruity feel.
Well carbonated and refreshing, smoother than it looks: a very pleasant brew to sit and watch the river flow with.

Just short review from memory
Pours a light brown with virtually no head
Smells sweet and malty, with a taste to match.
Started off overly sweet but by then end I found it very refreshing, but slightly overcarbonated.
The price is right on this one, and this might be my new session brew.

Picked this up on a friend's recommendation. First taste is a sweet, not what I was expecting from a dunkel. The color is a beautiful cloudy brown with a creamy beige head. Maltiness is predominant flavor, but very smooth and drinkable. At first I was put off, but now I'm liking it ...a lot!
