On tap at Sweeney's Ale House in Encino, CA.
Pours a hazy orange with a foamy tan head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus zest, grapefruit juice, and pine needle aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, grapefruit juice, and earth flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that has a nice mix of citrus, pine, and earthy hop aspects all around.
Serving type: on tap.

Amber colored ale with a decent cream colored head. Subdued pine and orange aroma. Citrus hops and honey taste. My brew was on tap and came out almost cask style. Not their best but good.

Had a pint at the public house last night before the Giants and Cubs game.
Beer poured golden Orange with a nice white head.
Nose was awesome as the citrus hops were quite pungent.
Taste was pretty good. The malt base had a grainy quality that detracted from the nice citrus hops.
Mouthfeel was ok, medium bodied and somewhat smooth.
Overall a good beer, something I would have again.

On tap at BC's Pizza & Beer
A: Pours golden amber with a creamy off white head that settles to a thin layer and laces lightly.
S: Mild. Citrus, a little pine, hints of tropical fruit, and a bit of light caramel malt sweetness.
T: Citrus, grapefruit, lemon lime, and tangerine, hints of tropical fruit, a little pine, and some light caramel malt sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Tasty, but I wish it was a little more bold. This feels a bit restrained and mild. Still, not a bad way to christen their new brewery.

Served in a pint glass at Stuft Pizza Milpitas
A: Dark orange, hazy, half a finger of head
S: Grapefruit, pine, faint citrus, grapefruit peel and bready malt
T: Grapefruit peel upfront in a pop of bitter, malts in the middlemouth followed by more grapefruit in the finish. Some flourishes of tropical sweetness throughout, but predominately a more bitter, grapefruit oriented IPA
M: Low to medium mouthfeel, low carbonation for an IPA, dry finish
O: Good IPA, very heavy on the bitter grapefruit
