On tap at 21 Amendment's San Leandro Brewery Tap Room
A: Pours rich dark brown with a light brown head that settles out and leaves a little spotty lacing here and there.
S: Banana comes right out, followed by cocoa and coffee, roasty earthy notes, a hint of smoke, and a touch of burnt sugar sweetness.
T: Opens with an interest almost tart cherry light acidity, followed by roasty earthy malt, coffee, cocoa, underlying bananas foster, and a little
M: On the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation, the acidity kinda counters the slight creamyness.
O: This one is... different. Not sure what's up with the acidity, but definitely not what I was expecting, especially when the nose leads you in the right direction. Drinkable, but misses the mark.
