On tap at 21st Amendment. Listed on the board as 8% ABV and as being dry-hopped with Simcoe hops.
Pours a clear copper color with a nice medium-sized white head.
Aroma is piney and citrusy hops along with some caramel malty sweetness.
Flavor is about what you'd expect from a well-balanced west coast IPA. Some caramel malt, but hops are the star of the show. Citrusy Simcoe notes evident with grapefruit and orange, as well as some piney qualities.
Medium body with very slight syrupiness and some mild palate-wrecking qualities.
Drinkability is decent. Overall this is a pretty solid IPA (or maybe IIPA).

on-tap at the brewery. wish i had taken better notes, didn't realize this was a rare/new beer
cell-phone notes
appearance: served in a standard pint, pulpy hazy orange body, creamy beige lace
smell: fresh and citrusy, simcoe hops, toasted grain
taste: great hoppy IPA - simcoe hops were the flower of choice i believe, grapefruit zest, citrus zest, sweet and hoppy
mouthfeel: slick, nice hop levels, light bitterness
drinkability: good
