Pours a golden color with a minimal head that goes away quickly. It has a nice tropical hop aroma and taste. It is slightly sweet with a mild hop bitterness. Rated 6-1-2022 55 IBUs

Below Average, IPA. Nothing special, actually cheap.

When you get to a certain point, you can immediately tell which is a mass market IPA and which one is "good". This is a typical mass market IPA flavor profile. It's decent and inoffensive, but not memorable. The foamy head is what takes it down a notch, it's just bubbles at this point.
Side note: this brewery does well (I've seen their beers in the midwest), but I think there are other bay area breweries far more deserving of taking their spot. Kind of like how Devils Canyon and SpeakEasy Ales are all over bay area shelves despite not being anything special. Must be a case of at the right place at the right time from years ago.

Pours a hazy amber in a pint glass with a nice, fluffy, lasting head.
Smells of citrus, pineapple, and hops.
Taste is very hop forward with a bit of pineapple creeping up again.
Not overly carbonated, a bit of a lighter IPA in mouthfeel.
Overall not bad but wish it had a bit more malt.

It's a decent mass market beer. The flavor is mediocre. What I don't like is It's got the foamy mouth feel that all mass market IPAs all have. It's like it turns into bubbles the moment it hits your tongue.
Id be happy to find this at a Chili's but other than that I'll pass.

Part of a variety 12-pack $19.99 Don Quijote
193 days old. They should print the date on the packaging and not just the cans
Smell of citrus, bread
Hazy golden slightly orange color
Medium mouthfeel, some creaminess
Taste some bitterness, citrus, oranges, light tartness
Overall ok. Probably better fresher, but can't tell by package so probably won't buy from this brewer again.

Two 12oz cans into a Spiegelau glass because the cans rapidly foamed over upon opening spilling much of the beer.
L: Pours lightly hazed orange gold with a 2.5" rocky off white head. Decent retention due to it's high carbonation. Thick crusty lacing w/some banding.
S: Plastic, very light citrus, melon, a hint of bread.
T: Lightly tart citrus, plastic, lemon rind, melon rind, light pineapple, moderately bitter and light pine resin lingers. It tastes fake. It is fresh, just not good.
F: Crisp medium bodied mouth feel that is semi-smooth, slightly drying and it's finish is fast.
O: Not a very good beer. Each can rapidly foamed out essentially wasting beer when I opened them. They have been unmoved & upright in my fridge for 4 days. It doesn't really taste tropical due to a halo of plasticity. A disappointing attempt from this brewery and is okay to poor in it's style. The Blood Orange IPA from them is 3X better. Seek that one instead.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Sweet tropical and stone fruit takes the lead, supported by a little citrus, a touch of herbal pine, light floral notes, biscuity malt, and a solid hit of caramel sweetness.
T: Appropriately tropical, plenty of mango, guava, pineapple, passion fruit, peach, apricot, watermelon, and hints of pear and faint banana, juicy citrus tangerine and lemon lime, a little herbal pine, a touch of spice, floral notes, subtle bubblegum, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly creamy.
O: Not a bad juicy IPA with a nice depth of flavor, though it does sit a bit on the sweet side. My main gripe is not knowing exactly what kind of "splash of tropical tropical flavor" they added. Fun one, but I'd definitely reach for the original Brew Free Or Die instead.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy patches of lace on the glass. It smelled of grapefruit, pineapple, guava and orange with some toasted bread. Sweet tropical fruit taste with a sharp bitterness and sweet caramel backbone.

12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours golden with a subtle haze; fluffy white head that falls leaving great retention and sticky lacing. The aromas have a nice amount of orange leading the way. Some crackers. Malts are there. I know that this is a "Tropical IPA", but I'm honestly picking up more citrus in the aroma and flavor department. The flavors have more orange leading the way. Some peach, apricot and coconut. Subtle hints of caramel in the mix. More crackers. Soft sweetness to go with a moderate bitterness. Malts do their thing. Finishes juicy and dry at the same time. Alcohol basically goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is nice. It's medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's fluffy, smooth, slightly sharp and slightly creamy.
This is a pretty solid IPA. Lots of citrus for a Tropical IPA, but there's still a tropical vibe. Either way it's good stuff. It's enjoyable and fun to drink. The craftsmanship is on point. Well done. I like it.
