Crisp, bright and brewed for drinkability, this Pilsner has a snappy, quenching flavor. Brewed with Simcoe hops for their passionfruit and pine resin aroma, and built on premium pilsner malt for that classic cracker bread flavor.

Pours slightly cloudy bright orange/gold with a large white head. Decent lacing. Aroma is bread, yeast and a bit of citrus. Flavor follows the nose, a touch sweet up front with some hoppy bitterness in the finish. Feel is light bodied with adequate carbonation. Overall, a decent beer.

Semi-hazy golden yellow body; fairly dense carbonation; thick, long-lasting head, white and frothy. Outstanding bouquet of floral elements, powdered sugar; and mild fruity esters; berries and cantaloupe. Nice balance of flavors; light, doughy malt taste; melon; light to moderate hop bitterness; a hint of citrus. Medium bodied feel; a tad acidic; crisp.
This interesting pilsner has a resounding hop flavor and bitterness. In some ways, this seems like a citrus-like pale ale more so than a pilsner. Still, who am I to argue with the can labeling? Although I would gladly drink more of this beer, I'd likely look for other options if I were in a pilsner mood.

Hazy yellow, dense white head, excellent retention, splotchy lace
Fresh, floral hop aroma, bready malt
Tastes like it smells, a little bit of citrus herbal in there, snappy bitterness
Medium-light bodied and well carbonated
I drank the shit out of this after spending all day doing yardwork

With two twelve ounce cans now emptied into a clear glass liter mug, it can be determined that there is more white foam produced than by most Pilsners. It's not a good thing for the visual, as it recedes quickly, unevenly and unattractively. The foam leaves spotty lacing inside the vessel. The color of the beer is light yellow-amber, not dull, but rather hazy, especially for the style. The normal hops are within the aroma, but the malts associated with Pilsners are harder to detect. That's what the tongue gets. This has the Pilsner hop taste down, virtually completely. But, this is badly removed from the malting that contributes to the good ones. There's no nuttiness to taste that's often a nice secondary pleasure from this style. Instead, you get a Pilsner hop flavor, which isn't all that complex, without a substantial malt counterbalance. This is a category that requires subtleties and this really doesn't bring any. Maybe it's not bad, but it is disappointing.

Pours a slightly cloudy straw with a persistent rocky head. Smells hoppy, American hops- citrusy, juicy fruit. Taste is some tropical hops through the middle then a bracing hoppy bitterness in the finish. It doesn't really taste like a pils to me- more like a pils crossed with an NEIPA. Not bad but not really true to style. A little heavy for a pils. It's ok but also sort of a weird hybrid.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, pale, yellow color with a small, white head of fluffy foam. It left minimal lacing on the glass. It smelled of grains, caramel and fresh cut grass. Light caramel taste with some toffee and a mild bitterness.

To me, this tastes more like a pilsner-masquerating-as-an-IPA than the 'hoppy pilsner' that it is labelled.
So, unfortunately, my expectations were wrong.
P.S. I'm a very unsophisticated reviewer; basically, I rate a beer based on how much I like it.

Aroma is fruit, grains and a small hint of tropical fruit. The flavor is fruit/citrus, malts/grains and a tropical fruit/slightly sweet/complex bitter hop finish.

Clear straw color with a large white head and good lacing, Nice aroma but strays from what you might expect for this style as citrus and even tropical fruit show up. Hops play a similar role in the taste while crisp, yeasty, floral flavors remain familiar. Dry, slightly bitter aftertaste. A pils with a unique twist.
