Copper colored with a fingernail of off white on top. The aroma is of pumpkin spice, nutmeg, clove, and a bit of pine. I am tasting nutmeg, pumpkin spice, clove, and a bit of pine. The mouth is lightly sticky and a bit warm with spices.

I don't know why this is listed as Retired since I just bought this at Total Wine in Tustin, CA. Pumpkin aromas from a hazy pumpkin colored (medium orange/yellow) body with an initially foamy white head that dies pretty quickly. Pumpkin pie flavor with a strong cinnamon component (but not overwhelming) as well as nutmeg, cloves, and ginger. Body is medium. The pumpkin vegetal component comes out perfectly in this, not too light and not too "ground up pumpkin". Finishes sweet with a lasting cinnamon and pumpkin pie flavor. This is a great pumpkin beer!

Pours a slightly cloudy orange color with a minimal head that disappears quickly. Taste is spicy with fall spices and a bit of heat on the finish. Enjoyable!

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a hazed orange color with a small head of white foam. The head has a moderate level of retention, fading and leaving a bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heavy of a sugary sweet pumpkin smell mixed with notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. Along with these aromas comes some brown sugar and caramel and notes of an herbal and pine hop.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready and biscuit malt flavor mixed with a decent showing of white sugar sweetened pumpkin puree. There are notes of an herbal and earthy hop, which are light, but which do grow slightly stronger as the taste advances. At the same time the pumpkin fades a bit, while the sweetness rises, with notes of vanilla and some brown sugar. All throughout there is a bit of a spice as well, with notes of cinnamon and a growing presence of nutmeg. The tastes take the taste to its end, leaving one with a sweeter, slightly more malty, and lightly hopped pumpkin pie taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is a bit chewy with a carbonation level that is moderate to slightly more spicy.
Overall – An OK pumpkin brew. The mix of IPA and sweeter pumpkin worked to some extent, but in other ways it was a bit confusing on the tongue.

12oz can. Bottom stamp appears to read '2204SO 1823 600!!'.
Cloudy, dirty orange colored body. One finger of egg shell white head, which retreats after a minute or so to an interrupted cap and ring. Leaves behind thin horizontal lines of lacing.
Aroma of nutmeg, cloves, ginger, and gourd. Slight pine.
Taste is sweet and pumpkin spicy. Spice flavors of nutmeg, cloves, ginger, and minor cinnamon. More pine resin than in the nose. Earthy, herbal, with notes of cannabis. Initial impression of each sip is very sweet and then evolves to the gourd and herb. Bit of metallic with repeated sips. Very long lasting residual aftertaste of pumpkin spice, weed, and pine.
More than medium mouthfeel, with a soft mouth coating and getting close to stickiness. Good carbonation.
One is enough per session because of the sweetness intensity.

It looks very orange, like a pumpkin. It's hazy, but not super hazy. The aroma is very balanced between hops, sweet malt, and pumpkin spice. To me, I can pick up some pine from the hops, and kind of an herbal smell like cannabis. The more you try to smell it, the more the pumpkin spice takes over the aroma. On the palate, there is definitely a hop bite. However, the hop bite blends with an accompanying bitterness from the spices. I do get a lot of citrus on the palate, typical of an NEIPA. It's also quite sweet and orange-y. It's got a medium body. Overall, I think this is a solid pumpkin beer and an interesting NEIPA. I am rating this to style.

A very strange IPA nutmeg cinnamon notes of hops taste is a bit bitter and acidic but mostly sweet in the start of the sip. Very strange smooth but exactly as described. Not sure I would get it again but I appreciate trying it.

Poured into a wide mouth grip shaped goblet: color is hazy gold, head is off white and presents 1/2 inch thick, then dissipates to a ring along the glass sides, some spotty lacing on the glass.

Smell is pumpkin pie spice forward - clove, nutmeg, ginger, light cinnamon, some backing hop citrus notes.

Taste is pumpkin pie spice led - clove, nutmeg, ginger, light cinnamon; hopping comes second with a light citrus quality; malt is bready and light graham cracker note.

Mouthfeel is low/moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness - bitterness from hop/spice level reallyl sets this as 'pumpkin ipa'.

Overall a well put together pumpkin ipa - moderate but not overdone pie spice light crackery malt sweetness, and just enough citric hops to set it as an ipa.

Coppery orange hazy. Very pumpkin pie spice nutmeg forward. Taste strongly of pumpkin pie seasoning with heavy nutmeg. Some underlying hoppy bitterness. Lingering aftertaste of spice a bit artificial taste. Low carbonation. Not very enjoyable for me.

12oz can poured into a SA glass

A- pours a hazy dull golden amber with an orange hue, two finger foamy and bubbly head has great retention and leaves some lacing behind

S- pumpkin spice aromas of nutmeg and cinnamon up front , complimented by a zesty orange hop note that gives an almost 'fall potpourri' aroma, smells just like fall

T- perfect compliment of nutmeg and cinnamon up turn into a cola-like flavor. Mid-palate brings out the base beer, giving flavors of orange marmalade and some light floral notes. The finish gives more nutmeg with notes of graham cracker and pumpkin pie

M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that turns slightly creamy into the finish, high drinkability

O- really enjoyed this one, the finish reminds me of a hoppy Pumking

Fantastic skunky cannabis-like hops smell. An overwhelming nutmeg and mace flavor compliments the bready, malty ale. Surprised that it's billed as an IPA, since the nutmeg is more prominent than any hoppy flavor. The artificial flavors linger on the palate for a long time, so it will kill your palate if you're sampling several beers in an evening. I like nutmeg a lot; it's one of the only artificial flavors I like to be this heavy-handed. Not that hoppy - like, not that bitter, citric, etc. I like nutmeg, so this is very drinkable for me. However, it's not an ultra-sweet-cinnamon pumpkin-spice-latte flavor. For me, it's better than that generic cinnamon-sweet flavor profile. Not my favorite pumpkin, but I'd definitely revisit it.
