Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of vanilla, malts. Taste follows the aroma, hints of lactose as well. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Pours a clear rich yellow with plenty of foam in the tall goblet. Innocuous lemony aroma with mystery spice. Then a sip of aaaaaarrrrgggghhhh-- unmistakably vanilla and the sweetness, just like sugar cookies with some kind of artificial flavoring. The description sounds inviting: "Imperial golden toasted ale," but it's a real horror show. Still tastes like lemon cookies as well, but the aftertaste of bitter hops is so awful that it's hard to describe. Good thing I started out the evening with this one to leave some other flavors to wipe this one away. From the 12 oz can purchased at the big box wine store. Cryptic numbers stamped on the bottom.
