YES I love hop puns! Another classic one. Still waiting for "Alfred A. Hopf (the publisher)" to be brewed by someone.
Draft at the brewpub.
Cloudy copper in color with a nice lasting one finger white head on top.
The aroma is decent but a bit weak, citrusy with sweet malt notes.
Sweet pale and caramel malts on the flavor with a subdued hop presence for this brewery. Orange and tangerine.
The mouthfeel is a bit more syrupy than I’d personally like, and this makes it a bit tough to drink.
Overall an average IPA, more or less.
