This beer commemorates 21st Amendment's 25th anniversary. In addition to the classic Centennial, Cascade, and Chinook hops, it also features Idaho 7 and Simcoe. The result is a classic West Coast IPA with notes of pine, citrus pulp, resin, and mango accents.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 12/20/2024. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy orange/amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice Dense soapy lacing on the glass, light streaming carbonation. Aromas and flavors of big ruby red grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, mango, honeydew melon, passionfruit, papaya, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, light toast, and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Medium pine, citrus rind, herbal, spicy bitter finish. Medium carbonation and body; balanced bready/grainy malt and sticky/resinous hop mouthfeel. Lingering resin dryness with minimal lingering hop astringency. Great all around classic west coast IPA with Centennial, Cascade, Chinook, Idaho 7 and Simcoe. Classic C hops dominate, but the tropical notes are very balanced.

12 ounce can - $3.29 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a hazed, darkish orange-gold body with a surge of near white foam. Moderate lace on the descent.
Smell: Slightly biscuity, bready with a sweetish hint of toffee glaze. Sweaty citrus, resiny pine, earthy hop scents wrapped up in a thin ribbon of alcohol.
Taste: Toffee-toned, sweetish, bready maltiness, ahead of a predominately C-hops hop profile. Citrusy (orangey), piney, peppery, earthy, slightly resiny, with a little floral, strawberry accent. Medium degree of overall bitterness. Bittersweet, warming finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: A solid, likable IPA.

$3.29 @ Total Wine & More, Claymont, DE
Notes via stream of consciousness: This is a West Coast IPA at 7.2% ABV but that's all I know about it. It's poured a hazy golden-orange body beneath a full head of fluffy off-white foam. The aroma is pungent with resins backed by citrusy fruit, mainly orange. On to the taste, it's exactly the same. This is weird and I'm a little thrown off. It's strong but this is just an old school West Coast IPA. It's piney, resinous, citrusy (orange, grapefruit), and and lightly tropical. If I had to hazard a guess at the hops in use I'd go with Cascade, Chinook, Columbus, and a little bit of something more modern. The malt is sweetish and lightly bready, and a solid bitterness balances it. There's a light touch of alcohol to it as well. In the mouth it's medium bodied and crisp with a fine-bubbled standard carbonation. It's a fine beer, I'm just a little surprised they chose to do a throwback as their 25th anniversary beer. Maybe they're looking back on what's come before. I'll probably buy this again but I'm not going to rush out to get it.

Look: clear amber color, 4F head.
Aroma and taste: piney with an excellent hoppy finish.
Old school: I miss the classic styles. This is a well balanced IPA, unlike a lot of contemporary IPAs and DIPAs. A pleasure to drink.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a hazy orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of citrus, some pine. Taste follows the aroma, malts are present, moderate to high bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall this is an enjoyable beer.
