Pours an amber, hazed color, with a big, bubbly head.
Smells of coppery, sweet toffee, peas hull, wet grass and straw.
Has a soft, velvet mouthfeel, with a medium, refreshing carbonation to it, convincing for its dry, leafy finish.
Tastes of rustic, doughy malts, a rich, leafy hoppiness and a note of toffee on the back end. Old honey blends into dried leaves, turns almost alcoholic while finishing with a pleasantly calm, soft hop appearance and hazelnut shell among earth.
Unexpectedly heavy on the tongue for what it represents, while exhibiting a nice hop profile among sweeter malts.
