This is listed here as a Euro Pale lager, but both the importer and website list this beer as a Czech lager, which to me implies what we could generally call a Czech pilsner.

Pours a burnished golden color. Crisp, clear and vibrant. Thin velvety white head dissipates slowly leaving behind just a thin residual layer of foam.

The aroma is kind of odd in that its got strong notes of sweet bready malts but it also gives off a toasted dry aroma. Light spicy earthy hops peep through.

Taste has notes of doughy bread, with a sweet honey like flavor. Earthy, spicy hops come through on the back end with some light bitterness giving way to a dry toasted finish.

Overall it is a bit on the sweet side for me, but its a solid example of the Czech pilsner. My gripe with this one is the lack of a discernible date. There is a code, but I can't make heads or tails of it, and while this was new to my store, it tastes, to my palate, to be an older bottle. I have had enough Czech pilsners to be able to generally tell when one is older and this gives off that same vibe.

Crystal clear straw with tight white head. Aroma is of grass and herbs. Taste follows the nose with a nice hit of grassy/earthy hops and a clean and crisp touch of pale malt. Ends with a balanced bitterness. Body is light to medium with a moderate carbonation. Ends crisp with spice. Overall a very nice pilsner

Was in the mood for a Czech pils. My local Binny's on the far NW side of Chicago has a bunch of random Eastern European / Czech brews.

Overall pretty solid. Typical golden pilsner color. Small, dense head. Solid hop taste as you'd expect from a Czech pils. No frills, easy drinker.

Another find from the neighborhood Russian market. This pours a warm light-brown/tan. The aroma has that faded hop character, only mildly so, with some muted grassy notes. On the sip I get the same, faded yet crisp hops and a dry finish. Not too bad!

with so many craft breweries - trying to out do each other on who can make the craziest beer - this beer was a great reminder what beer should taste like - it is a fine example of a Czech beer - golden color great hop smell - great hop taste and after taste

Poured from an undated bottle into the Pilsner glass.
A - Dark straw colored backdrop offers a nice clear look at the active carbonation. A quick to leave cap says goodbye.
S - Dusty malts are strong, a bit of grassy hops and honey.
T - The nose leads on this one, very little deviation, pleasant and rich flavors.
M - Medium in body, a sweet start turns quickly, Modest hops add a slight bitter element, linger is wonderfully malt driven
O - Rich pils and quite delightful, I would seek out in the home country, with hopes for subtle improvements
