This is a brown bottle with a thin sticker across the lower portion describing the contents instead of the typical playful ghost label. Poured into a tulip it appears a clouded amber with a thin film. It looks almost as if carbonation is stuck in solution and doesnt want to come out.
Aroma is strong of strawberries, neutral fruitiness and tequila. Some oak, earth and brett is vibrant here. There are minimal yeast phenolics.
Taste is strawberry, and quite seedy upfront. It has layerings of fruity sweetness before warming earthy tequila comes into play. There is a house brett character in this reminiscent of bottles of Fantome from a decade + ago. Wow, I love and miss that aspect of Fantome that is so unique/enjoyable.
This is medium to fuller in body and lighter on the carbonation scale. Im sure with some time this could thin out a bit and carb up a little more. Regardless I love this and want more.
