L - hazy yellow with a nice foamy head that does dissipate relatively quickly. Lots of floaties that underlines that 'freshly hopped' selling point. In short: it looks the part, and it's most definitely inviting.
S & T - yeah, pretty bitter... Not sure if I can say anything more as that kind of dominates. The flavor attacks with some of your standard pale ale white bready maltiness (sans any sweetness), but quickly gets overwhelmed by a generic hoppiness and bitterness. Couldn't find much interesting flavors, though. Nothing fruity. Nothing weedy. Nothing floral. Kinda tasted like black tea that's been steeped too long, actually.
F - bitterness coats your palate and takes a while to dissipate. Get a bunch of crackers or toast if you're tasting alongside other beers (or even if you're drinking it beside food) because it will just dominate everything.
O - if you like your beers bitter, this one's for you. If you like your black teas, this one's for you. If you like your IPA's grapefruity or piney, or if you're looking for new interesting hops, yeah, this one's not for you.
I would recommend this one.
