Shared 750 ml bottle, poured into proper pint glasses, in Toulouse, France.
This beer harks back to the development phase of the world revered XX Bitter. Guido Devos joined the brewery in 1997, and he attempted to make a beer with as many hops in it as possible without it being undrinkable. The first batch was made with Brewers Gold whole hop cones from his own garden.
As he is retiring, but in classic Belgian brewer fashion not in the sense of stopping working at the brewery, they wanted to re-release this to mark the occasion.
Overall, really good brew here!
