This was a lemony-yellow wheat beer with a two finger head. I agree, the smell was weak, a bit lacking, just a slight floral and citrusy hint. It looked like hoegaarden, but didn't match up. I thought it was a bit watered down without enough body or character. I've had better wheats.

Pours a yellow gold with a small head with white lacing. The smell is very weak with only a hint of floral wheat. The taste is hoppier than most wheat beers and kind of overpowers the wheat lemon flavor. There is some honey and sweet floral malt flavors, but the hops really make everything else second best. The m/f is light and doesn't mix too well. Not one of Gritty's best.

Dark yellow with frothy head but it fades quick. Hoppy aroma with a bit of citrus. Lemon and wheat on the tongue, the slight sourness sticks. It had a soda consistency which was kinda annoying.
