Interesting, and to me enjoyable, wheat beer. Does not seem like a mild to me; bartender said they were going for a German-style wheat (if he knows what he's talking about) but this is pretty different from a hefe, so I think this should be considered a loose American interpretation. A sour milky quality was present and might turn off some potential drinkers, but to me it was great, a symptom of fresh unpasteurized beer. Very refreshing and a good accompaniment to some of the brewpub's spicier foods.
