A blend of American wheat and Belgium wit beer styles, the Indian Basin wheat is unique. Cinnamon, cloves, coriander and orange peel compliment the malty smoothness.

Pseudo-pint glass served to me a pretty hazy gold-slightly orange color. Small white foam on top, but the glass was served pretty damn full.

Very interesting nose, heavy on the cloves with a flowery aspect...jasmine? Chamomile? Little bit of honeyed wheat, bubblegum and cinnamon.

Delicate wheat flavor with a pungent clover honey, coriander and clove taste. Very bubblegummy, like the old-school Blackjack chewing gum. Interesting take on a wheat beer, lemons and bubblegum make for a different flavor profile than most wits. It seems to have American, Belgium and German style influences. Kind of a lot going on and not sure it all works very well in harmony. Fresh and crisp beer with a not-so-subtle sweetness. Certainly worth a try, if not just for the uniqueness factor.
