Pours a deep amber color, appropriate foamy head. Light, sweet malty aroma. Tremendous flavor - loads of caramel, sweet malt, semi sugary. Delicious. Appropriate carbonation. Overall, a fantastic example of the category, wish it was distributed state-side.

Had several of these from bottle and draft in/around Provo. Taste of this saved bottle is consistent with previous tastings.
Poured into a narrow pint glass: color is amber, transparent, head is light tan and presents at least 1 finger thick and lingers very well.
Smell is quite malty: toasty, nutty, light caramel and honey with moderate hops; reminds of a darker ESB/ESA profile.
Taste is similar with an ESB/ESA like taste - malt forward with toast, caramel, honey, nuttiness, biscuit and then moderate hop taste of earth and spice.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, low/moderate bitterness.
Overall: probably the surprise beer of the standard 4 Turks Head brews distributed; strong malt flavor and aroma but drinkable even in the island weather.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a medium copper color with a one finger head of of-white foam. The head has a good level of retention, fading slowly over time to leave a light bit of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strongest of a toasted malt and a bit of caramel and molasses. Along with these aromas comes smells of some nut and a little bit of a herbal hop.
Taste – The taste begins sweeter toasted malt flavor with a decent showing of caramel and molasses sweetness. As the taste advances the roastiness gets a bit more intense and is joined by some light flavors of a stone fruits and a touch of nut. At the very end the sweetness surges and a bit of herbal hop and grain comes to the tongue, leaving one with a surprisingly roasty and sweet, but smooth taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness and chewiness with a carbonation level that is medium as well. For an amber of 6 % abv, the feel is great and makes for a nice easy and flavorful sipper.
Overall – A rather easy drinking and flavorful amber ale. Rather tasty and the best of the 4 Turks head brewery beers I have had thus far.

Dark amber, becoming more brown toward the middle, with a really soft fluffy tan blanket.
Surprisingly toasty and nutty for an island beer, the medium-full body has a soft yet moderately firm carbonation bringing a little bite of pungent semi-bitter hops that exhibit light wood and orange peel before a semi-dry finish that surfaces a pumpernickel aftertaste.
Not bad at all.
