06/20/08- Consumed during my two week Montana vacation.
Presentation- Via the tap into tasters.
Appearance- Black colored pour with a 1/4 inch creamy tight bubbled off white head. Leaves behind nice lace patches.
Smell- Deep roasted, if not burnt malt with a touch of chocolate and espresso powder.
Taste- Super burnt malts, tastes like an ashtray with a sprinkling of chocolate powder and light coffee bean notes as well.
Mouthfeel- Very creamy with a low carbonation level. This was via the tap and not on nitro.
Drinkability- A touch thin, but very dark and quite flavorful.
