they call this lifestyle ipa because you cant say session anymore and expect to sell anything, but this is solid in this lackluster low calorie or better for you space, this is one of the first ive had from anyone, big or small, that i would go back to by choice, like even over some normal ipa types, its downright delicious, even gluten reduced, shocking, but you really would never know, it just works. i dont know what the hops are, but it seems modern to me, especially compared to some of their others, citra likely, maybe some el dorado too, there is a melon thing to this in nose and taste, and some juicy stone fruit too, yellow peach in high august, clean botanical bitterness too, the hop profile is super dialed in here, and for once a beer in this style seems to have a little soul. its light in body but not watered down, and i can still taste some of the pale barley, maybe even some wheat malt in here too, its soft like that, cereal forward, and with killer carbonation, very uplifting and excited. some lemongrass as it warms, good balance, finishing bitterness, clean ferment, way way way better than most of these. nice job.
