Just had this the other night at the Chophouse. This says that it is retired but it was just recently added back to the rotational menu. This beer was served in a pint glass and when it got to me the brown bubbles were still running wildly through the glass and forming a lucious tan head at the top. Very dark and looked just like a pint of Guinness. The aroma and taste of the beer were very interesting with the nitro. There was a very smooth creamy taste in here, yet a bit of hop bitterness and a bit of nuttiness. Overall I found this beer to be pretty drinkable and would have had another if I wasn't interesting in sampling several of their beers.

This is the nitro-tap version of their popular nut-brown ale. Guess they wanted to see what it was like with different carbonation.
Beer was served in a standard pint glass. Nice medium-brown color, little head. Taste was good; some of the harsh notes of the nut-brown are blunted by the nitro, and a more mellow, creamier ale emerges. Good hopping on this one. The nitro goes a long way to improving the mouthreel, though I still find this one a challenge to quaff a pint down.
