The current specialty beer at District Chophouse. Billed as a hoppy German pilsener.
Pours a clear golden color with a thin white head.
Smell has a nice hop character that I don't expect from the style, but that I quite enjoyed.
Taste is a bit disappointingly bland. Only a bit of the hop aroma carries over into the flavor so in the end it's just a yellow fizzy beer.
Mouthfeel is crisp and light. I could drink more but probably would not choose to.
