Beer on draft at a local beer bar. Three way collaboration between the three DC brewpubs, this was the best tasting out of the three and the middle in darkness.
Beer served in a snifter, beer is amber and mostly clear with a big head that leaves some lacing on the glass.
Beer's aroma is a little light but overall its nice. Carmel notes, slight alcohol or sweetness, mild spice.
Beer has a good butterscotch flavor it to. Carbonation is low in the mouth but there is a nice creaminess to the whole thing. Very good beer. Finishes nicely, a very drinkable beer.

Pour is couldy and thick, moderate brown with a thin white head.
Aroma is sweet with malt, some fruitiness and esters.
Fruity and calm, very smooth, light in the mouth. Leaves alot of tart fruit in the mouth, maybe not the best beer to put on cask but very tasty, glad I got to try it.
