Originally reviewed March 23, 2005. On tap at the brewpub. Clear burnt brown pour. Light toast aroma. Lacks much strong flavor. Light sweet cherry kiss and a little malt aftertaste, with a light wheat and yeast background. This is a very unimpressive porter. EDIT: Rerated and much more appreciated, this is a deep earthy full flavored beer, with great balance.
