Originally reviewed March 23, 2005. On tap at the brewpub. Deep cloudy brown pour, with strong foamy off-white head. Fantastic lacing, just sheeting the glass. Weak malty aroma. Toasted sesame flavor predominate. Backed with grass and malt. Very complex but totally atypical of all the Bocks Ive ever had. Not sweet and sugary and smooth like a standard, but more dryu and oaky, which is a little more terse on the palate.
