Originally reviewed on December 29, 2005. On tap at the brewpub. Orange-amber pour, with a creamy off-white head. Sweet malt and grain aroma. Flavor comprised of toothy grains, blended with sweet floral honey. Most delecate and gentle of all the Scotch Ales Ive had, yet holds a strong savory richness, backed with similiar caramel and sugar notes. Some orange-blossom honey. Palate is a sweet aftertaste, with a little oaky dryness.
