Served as part of a sampler tray at their brewery. Another seasonal beer from Valley Forge. This poured a deep amber brown in color, was clear and topped off with a very thin wisp of foam. The aroma has a pleasant bitterness of roasted chocolate and almonds. The taste is definitely chocolaty with a thin layer of malts underneath. The body is lightly malted and very dry. Reminds me a of a chocolate wafer. This is a very flavorful Nut Brown, which somehow reminds me of Bert Grants perfect porter, if in taste only. I enjoyed this one.
