Brewer's homepage indicates that pale ale and crystal malt, Cascade and Chinook hops were used.

The aroma gives off fresh pine, some bready sweetness, and even a touch of milk chocolate. Pours a rather small, eggshell-white head which doesn't last; the body is golden amber; there is some thin lacing. The flavor is dominated by piney, resiny hops and moderate bitterness; some very subtle bready sweetness. Medium-light body with crisp, moderate carbonation.

This is a delicious and pleasantly aromatic pale ale with lots of fresh pine and a palatable level of bitterness. The malt is quite subdued, making this taste more like an American IPA. Very drinkable—crisp, refreshing, smooth. Not especially complex, but very solid and enjoyable. I would love to have this one again.
