Foggy hazy orange amber hues with an antique white craggy 1/4 “ sticky well retained head cap froth, leaving lattice lace. A few healthy swirls gives rise to the cap.

Juicy orange and malty cake pancake flour scents.

First Swigs: Powdery grainy dusty malts and juicy orange wedge. Bone dry hops. My wild guess is cascade and East Kent Goldings. English style malty backbone. Zesty middle of lemon peel

Medium to full bodied for an IPA. Even a bit thick. Acidic hop oil sizzle. Well carbonated linger, especially since this has been tapped into for week after filling.

Last Swigs: A twinge more powderyand grainy to taste, but kudos to Chris Leonard for building a hop brew. If only Chris would create other hoppy brews….if only…Oh! $10 a growler if ya bring yer own.

Beer is good. Happy beering.

More orange and citrus middle. Zesty hops finish. Real fruity and balanced!

Dark orange amber with a nice head of off-white sticky foam, that leaves excellent, thick, patchy, white lace all over my pint glass. Aromas of FRESH, West Coast hops, citrus, pine, the whole nice. A wonderful aroma, that we don't normally get from the General! Taste is all fresh hops, with a nice subtle bready maltiness in the middle, and a dry, piney, hoppy finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and creamy. This is a hop-lovers dream. Drinkability is awesome. Long live da hops.

The aroma is grassy and smells of freshly cut hay. The medium body tastes of caramela and toffee. It is malty enough to balance out the bitterness. This is more of an English homage than an IPA that has come from the good ol' USA. Many hopheads may like the taste of citrus fruit (lemon and grapefuit) in their IPAs, but you won't get it here.

Pours a real nice deep orange with a great creamy sticky head, the aroma is slightly grassy with some light sweet malt.Flavor starts on the sweeter malty side but a zesty hop flavor hits hard around midway through swallow and lingers through the finish.A really nice looking and quality tasting brew well worth a trip back for.
