Pours a nice chestnut brown with a thin head and a little bit of lace. Very nice aroma with lots of dried fruit esters - cherries and caramel up front, with a little bit of Belgian yeast. The flavors are complex and nicely balanced, with caramel, plums, and rasins, and no burn at all from the 8% alcohol. This is a very easy drinking beer for the ABV. My only complaint is that I would like to see just a little more carbonation. None the less, an excellent beer. On draft right now, so get over to the General and grab some!

Appears a dark, chestnut color with a small off white head that fades into a small collar. Upon swirling the pint, streaks of lacing stick to the sides. Tiny carbonation bubbles seek their way up to the top.
Aromas of one of the Trappist strains. I'm thinking Chimay. Nice plum, yeasty, fruity, cherry with a hint of cocoa and bananas.
Taste is equal to the aromas with a nice balance that's done with a dose of candi sugar. Nothing is overbearing in this beer. It's subtle and well done.
Mouthfeel is slightly prickly at first but smooth on the swallow with a nice fruity, yeast filled banana blast kissing you goodbye as it goes down. What a nice sensation with this brew.

Banana and spice yeasty, bit of cherry sour texture. Thin to medium mouthfeel. Yeasty floral spice aroma. Dark colour with thin white head. Light carbonation. Bit of richness altogether, making it a higher than average drink, complex but smooth. Alcohol disguised.

all in All, an OK brew. I dig it, but I am not floored by it, solid and steady, it is at least worth a try.
Once poured, it almost looks like a cola. honestly. little head, almost no lacing. not very carbonated.
Nose is sweet and fruity, rather flowery.
Inital taste ,final flavor, all intermix in a nice, and complex, way. There is the mix of fruity esters, and candi sugar. That is followed by more fruit flavor (cherry/plum maybe?) and the belgian yeast effect. Finishes off with a solid warming feeling and toasted carmel, and for the abv is rather drinkable, almost session worthy .
Very Very interesting. Nice, complex brew. The fact it is almost too comlex prevents me from giving it a higher mark. Not totally floored, but very pleased

This is an extraordinary dubbel. It came with very little head, but I'm not sure if that was due to the pour. The beer came in a pint glass instead of a Belgian tulip glass. Had a lace around the edge throughout the session.

The taste was deep and significant. Further tastings may actually bump this one up a little bit. It has deep flavors. Belgian yeast esters, candi sugar, and multiple fruit flavors (maybe plums, etc.).

Smooth as silk and very drinkable for 7+ beer.

Complex and incredibly enjoyable.

The beer pours a dark amber color with a thin white lace head. The aroma is good. It has a nice malty scent that is accompanied by a very pleasant plum like aroma. The taste is decent. It has a dark, strong malt flavor that features some caramel malts and that plum taste; quite nice. The mouthfeel is good. It is a full bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is a fine dubbel. It has good aroma and flavor; an excellent sessions brew.
