Made with the second runnings of the barleywine...
Appears a black color with a mild brown hue to it with a small nitro induced tan head that seems to retain nicely and leave nice but typical nitro streaky lacing.
Smell is extremely mild. I get an aroma of light Juicy Fruit gum with a a touch of black and chocolate malts.
Taste is of the same mild aromas with a light bitterness that doesn't really make a whole lot of the flavors jump out at me.
Mouthfeel is of bitter sweet mild gum again with a settling on the middle of the tongue. I was expecting a little brother of the Chocolate Thunder and got a an odd, distant relative that didn't live up to my expectations.
