selected from their vintage list. neat side bar, the vintage list is their own beers. Unlike many other pubs I've been to where vintage means commercial varieties.
A - brilliant reddish brown, slight off white modest head that quickly dissipates.
S - rich dark fruit, caramel, figs, toffee.
T - similar to the nose but with a mild melding of flavors in a wonderful manner. minor note of oxidation
M - full bodied, rich sweet and smooth.
D - 12oz served in a small snifter, didn't matter it drank so wonderfully. If possible I'd have brought home a six pack

This had the same deep, dark brown color as the 03, but better clarity than either it or the 04. The nose was full with a malty sweetness. The mouthfeel was comparatively thin with a sharp, spicy flavor on the palate. The finish was dry, but with a bite like distilled liquor. This shows great promise for aging. It just seemed a bit young on this particular occasion.
