On tap pours an ominous auburn well topped with a frothy ivory snow pack head cap.
Deep aroma of floral hops bouquet (simcoe, challenger and fuggles) eminate easily even amongst a loud crowd that can often break one's concentration.
First swigs: Bright fresh orange slice, a touch of cherry open fruitiness that evolves more into a floral bright piney hops character that simmers for a lenghty taste and eases off with a linger.
Last swigs: This is my kind of IPA. Long on complex flavors a delicate bitterness and a drinkability factor that makes me another before this one is even gone. One of my favorite GLI beers yet.

This IPA was stated as having 100 IBU's but it is remarkably well balanced with sweet candy flavors and fruit. My overall impression was that the beer was not overly bitter but extremely full of flavors. Served a copper color with an off-white head. The aroma is big. It has sweet malty fruity scents underneath hops that have a grapefruit character. The flavor I'm tasting may be Amarillo hops (not certain) but quite tasty and sweet caramel candy flavors fit perfectly. Very easy drinking, this is certainly a session beer for anyone who like their hoppy IPA's.
Hope this is helpful.
