This one pours a cloudy apple cider that’s nearly tomato juice cloudy. It fades from a rusty color in the middle and fades to apple juice towards the edges. The head is but a narrow white collar.

Smells of dry pasty pale mats, dry pears and woody fall leaves.

Tastes of slightly sour cardboard and dry leaves with a bit of celery and white flour malt base.

Feels light but a little sluggish with a tiny carbonation.

Maybe I didn’t “get” this one, but the resemblance of this one to a fall day was extraordinary. I’ll be sure to try it again next season to see if I can’t warm up to it more.

Appears a hazy, dark amber with a fluffy, 1 finger, off-white head that slowly fades out. Scattered lacing is left around the glass.
Smell is of a bready, doughy, lager yeast that also has some spicy notes, along with a touch of toffee and sweet sugar.
Taste is of that doughy, yeasty, malty brew with a biscuit and tea flavor that reminds me of an English brunch. The IBU's are around 23 in this one but I think some of the residual bitterness is actually coming from the amount of the yeasty sediment remaining in the brw.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly sweet up front, smooth with a touch of abbrasiveness somewhere in the middle, and fading to a lip smacking, yeasty, spiced finish.

Pours fresh from a General growler as a hazy ochre amber hue topped with a quickly settled eggshell headcap.

Nose emanates with a honeyish cinnamon with a spice wafer just in time for the Fall.

First swigs: Spicy aromatic apple cider like with a sweet hint of fresh lemonade and brewed tea. Very light lemon in my tea middle. Malt characteristic is rye bready followed with just a touch of lemon peel peppery frisky finish.
