Gold-copper color, White head, average compactness.
In the taste the malt (Vienna) is very present. Pratically nothing else.
The taste is less "heavy" than the smell, tending to cereals and "biscuit". You can feel the bitterness of the grassy hops. Balanced.
Light body, very light aftertaste, tending to "biscuit", slight bitterness.
Quite pleasant, nothing more.

Beer pours golden with a big, fluffy, smooth head. Head dissapeared quickly leaving a strained lacing.

Beer doesn't smell much but a slight skunk and touch of maltiness.

Flavor is very smooth, with a fantastic spicyness. Body is very full and rich for a light lager. Unfortunately I believe this beer was skunked, so the maltiness is overrun by skunk. I've had this beer non skunked and it's very good.

Best part of this brew is the wonderful smoothness. Really great feeling on the mouth despite the intense spice.

A good beer, much better if fresh (I had it at the brewery also).

I've been to the Chodovar Brewery before, but this is my first review of this beer. I was fairly impressed with their other brews though, so I expected much of this one.

Pours a pale gold, with a creamy head that unfortunately was gone by the end. Taste is rather good, though I'll admit its not for everyone. Hints of caramel are evident in this quite hoppy, complex lager. I would describe the hops as more bitter than spicy, with a smooth aftertaste. Also elements of sweetness in there, but overridden by the hoppy flavor, though I might be confusing this with the light caramel taste. Easy to drink but rewarding, a good beer from one of my favorite breweries in the Czech Republic.
