Poured from 500mL bottle into my Bierwerk Züri glass. Best by 2/15/27.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a totally clear body and a thick head of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: kind of a light, grainy-ish malt aroma with a little bit of caramel and something that comes across as a little spicy. That's probably the hops but my brain reads it more like rye. I feel like it's a bit watery, though.
Taste: more flavor density than the aroma, which is nice. Definitely still has that kind of grainy + caramel thing going on as the aroma, though. Hops definitely have a kind of spiciness to them and there's also a bitter bite to it. It's fine, but this one doesn't 100% work for me.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: yeah, this one just seems out of balance or something, by my taste.

From a brown 500 ml bottle, this beer is a deep gold color, completely clear, with a thick, dense, white head. The aroma is bready, with a pale malt note and some herbal hops beneath. The taste has a light sweetness up front and an assertive bitterness in the mid-taste. Clean finish. Flavorful and very enjoyable.

Reviewed on Episode 22 of the Foam and Lace podcast. Poured a straw like color into the glass. Has a little bit of a grassy taste that is smooth at first with bitterness on the back end. I enjoyed this beer. Listen to the full review on Spotify.

Pours a fairly clear dark yellow with soft, fluffy head.
Smell is bready with notes of toast, knäckebröd and citrus with a slight butteriness.
Taste is bready and a bit spicy with a solid bitterness. Notes of rye bread, knäckebröd and citrus with a slight butteriness on the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, smooth and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice, clean pilsner.

500 ml bottle, as Kutno horska Zlatá 12, from Left Field Beer, England. ABV is 4.9%. Deep golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of malts, some caramel and herbal hops. Flavour of the same elements, quite bitter and medicinal aftertaste.

500ml bottle. Poured out a clear, straw-yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of cracker, bread crust and floral notes. Sweet caramel taste with a light bitterness.

Had on tap. Clear golden body, two fingers of white foam, bands of thick lacing. Nose isn't much, herbal hops with mild yeast. Taste features pale hops with lemon, grainy bread yeast, and a hint of honey with pilsner malt backing lightly. Light and full, frothy, hops are pale and decently bitter. Easy drinking with character

pretty sure i have the right beer here, my label just says czech pilsner 12 under the brewery name and logo, but this could be a packaging tweak for the english speaking world. in any event, its a tasty and unique take on pils, different than expected, and from a producer i have never even heard of, which is way cool, thanks to my buddy for sharing this. good clarity here but a much richer and deeper color than most others in this style space, past golden to brassy, even bronzed looking, high white headed, well carbonated, but substantial in appearance, much more toasted looking than the standard. its not too sweet to me but there is some richness in the aroma, definite toasted barley here, european and mineral forward but approaching even a caramelized sugar thing, less cracker, more bread, hearty in a good way, but also faintly metallic as it warms slightly. flavor is more crisp than the nose but i have to kind of approach this as a different sort of lager, has almost dortmunder export type heft, love the water chemistry, and even if freshness is suspect, its good, not as yeast forward as anticipated, and seemingly more of a wintery take on the style. different, old worldy, pretty solid. i love drinking random international lagers like this, always been a favorite past time, and id be curious to try some others from these guys, seems authentic and distinctive...
