Bourbon Barrel Imperial Stout

Stopped by the brewery and picked up a crowler that I consumed over the next two days. Solid imperial stout, but compared to others that are not that hard to come by, I think this one is good but not great. It delivers some marshmallow, some faint black licorice, and some chewy dark chocolate. It is very chewy and soft (to the point I kind of get a little lost in the mouthful) and has no hoppy bite to it. I don’t get much bourbon or barrel, nor do I get much in the way of layers.
