Poured from can at camp in Chobe NP. Golden pour, tiny head. Crisp feel, perfect carbonation, I really dig the feel. Flavor and aroma are pretty average for style (so not particularly strong or memorable). Easy to drink, probably my fav macro lager from Southern Africa.

It is difficult to rate because I am not familiar with the style. It’s not a European lager. It is a low gravity beer brewed in Pilsner style. OG likely below 40, and final gravity well below 10. Very dry beer. Beautiful light golden color, but Little to no head retention. No faults in aroma or flavor, but no hop aroma and only a slight malt aroma. Not much to it, but that’s what some people like. The reason for my low rating is because it was classified on BA as a European lager so I judged it as such. Judged as a low gravity Pilsner style beer I would raise the rating a point or so.

I had this beer back in Botswana. A classic lager brew. Nothing fancy about it. Refreshing with the hot weather but definitely not a good beverage I'd like to have everyday

This is one of two beers available at the private safari camps in Botswana. The other being Windhoek. It's cold and refreshing. Hopefully you aren't going to Botswana just for the beer!
