Steady taupe film over pale chestnut. 4
Corn husk and sweet caramel. 4
Toffee up front, cloying cream corn sweetness, some vinous tartness (plum, maybe), a bit of brown bread toast and a dry roasty cut. 4
Round, almost medium, low fizz, tinny. 4
Bang on. Complex and fascinating: has the sweetness of cream ale and the lagery cut of a Cali common - somehow clean, in spite of all the sweetness. Gets toastier as it opens. Like a Dark Mild in that it’s low carb, high FG. Very easy altogether.
