I had this beer on-tap in a pilsner glass at Ueli-Brau-Bar, next door to the brewery in Basel.
Appearance: pale golden hue with a light haze and a strong effervescence. head is a finger of frothy ivory foam.
Smell: crackery malt with a lovely yeastiness. Quite enticing.
Taste: sweetish malt with that bit of yeastiness and just a super small hint of fruity character from the yeast. I quite like it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a really delightful and quaffable kellerbier. Great!

A strong Helles with a rich flavor. Great starter beer when you’re at their brewpub.

5% ABV. Deep gold, pale amber pour (9-); white foam, good cap retention; good clarity, moderate lacing. Floral hop nose. Semi sweet with floral hop taste. Medium lite body; moderate carbonation. Overall an ok Lager-Helles.

Review: 50 cl. Can of Ueli Bier Reverenz: ABV: 5% vol
On pour nice get a frothy head, with a lovely looking light yellow coloured beer, looks good.
Very light and clear yellow, and a very good frothy white head, looks good.
Some good lacing.
The aroma is quite piercing, but nice, get a very berry smell. Citrus, malts and the yeast. Not bad.
On taste, get nice big mouthfuls, a light beer but nice and tasty.
Very nice and very smooth and very easy to drink, and you get a lot in the can.
Malty, has a nice taste of grain and wheat, biscuit or bready flavours, very nice taste.
All in the front taste, no bitterness or hoppy taste, very refreshing.
Like it, recommended, found it very nice and definitely one to saviour especially the long full bodied taste.

Straw yellow, tending to greenish. Slightly veiled. A white, beautiful, creamy head.
In the smell a good hop, quite dry. A bit of DMS.
A good hop in the mouth, too, with light honeyed notes in the back.
More than decent, quite balanced, good drinkability.
A decent bitternes in the finish, again, but not too long.

Assuming Fischerstube only has one "Spezial" beer, I picked this up at Drinks of the World.
It's a clear straw gold in my stange glass and leaves a little lacing on the way down. The flavor has a sweet candy note to like, like a very sweet bread - Finnish nisu comes to mind. The aroma is similar to a Dortmunder export with thick bready malts. The flavor is similar too with that sweet bread I mentioned. There isn't much of a finishing bitterness (again like a Dortmunder) and the body is light enough for this to be a great session beer. Overall, this isn't an amazing beer, but it's tasty and worth a try.

Nice lacing, and nice dense creamy head, very similar to the normal hell they brew in its appearance. A similar pale golden color. Not much in the smell. In the taste, a dry hoppiness but still a round maltiness. Grainy, maybe slightly nutty. Enjoyable before a meal or with a meal, quite dry. The mouthfeel is creamy, smooth and enjoyable.

A good, solid unfiltered Hell with an above average hop snap for this part of the world. A light golden colored lager with small white top. A light grassy hop and bready yeast aroma. Some light malt flavors and a light hop snap in a dry finish. Nothing special but good for this area of the world.
