The best of their offerings. But I still feel that it is lighter and less assertive than others in its class. Rich aromas of burnt sugar, Curacao orange and raisins, but a thinner body, less malt and hop bitterness than it should have had. Head fell quickly and didnt lace the glass at all. Suffers the most from St. Ss too cold servings. At 50 degrees this would be a much better beer than it is at 36 degrees.

Of the beers reviewable here, this was my favorite. They also had a limited addition strong ale on tap that beat everything else they served by a longshot... Boy do Belgian style ales taste better fresh!
This tasted great with nice sweet flavors and a spiciness that was pleasant. It's nice drinking belgians that do not have monster ABVs! It was a nice dark color with an awesome head.
I found this to have nice mouthfeel and due to the low abv was suprisingly drinkable. Get to this place, FL. folks!!

Brown Sugar baby! This beer smells like warm brown sugar and spices. Smell is excellent. One of the best smelling beers you can buy in Florida I'll wager. Dark mahagonay color wiuth a firm two finger thick tan head. Sweet brown sugar and all spice flavors with a nice malt and yeast backbone. An excellent beer that suffers only a thin palate, but is otherwise exemplary.

Served in a traditional glass, this dark beer was almost a deep bronze in color. The tan head was decent and laced well.
The nose is mostly of puply fruit and malt with a bit of spice sense. The taste is very earthy and musky, not nearly as pleasant as expected. It took some palate training to get use to this one. Though palatable, it is not much to my liking. Their Blonde being much nicer drinking.
The feel is thin but smooth. Drinkability is limited.

A wonderful, fresh-tasting Belgian-style dark beer. Low ABV, and somewhat thin body are the only drawbacks. Nice, spicy fruit backbone. Pours quite dark, with a substantial head and some lacing. Tastes like a top-notch Belgian beer. Served too cold, and improved (predictably) when it warmed up. Overall, an excellent beer to go with their excellent Belgian stew.
